This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") applies to your use of the www.twinject.com website (the "Verus Website"), which is owned and operated by Verus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Verus", "us", "our" or "we"). Your privacy and security are important to Verus. Because you may submit personally identifiable information to us through the Verus Website or via email, we feel you should fully understand the terms and conditions relating to the collection, use and possible disclosure of that information. Information Collected Through Technology.

Use of Personal Information.

In general, Personal Information you provide to us is used to respond to requests that you make. For example, Personal Information you submit to us may be used to help us identify those individuals who have accessed our product support information or to provide a service such as our "Email a Colleague" service which allows you to forward a link with our URL to a colleague. Personal Information may also be used to provide you with information about other Verus products or services that we believe may be of interest to you, based on your previous requests.

Disclosure of Personal Information.

We do not generally sell, trade, rent, or share your Personal Information with third parties who are not acting as our agents to carry out one of the permitted uses of your Personal Information. The Verus Website may contain links to other companies which may collect information directly from you. Each of the websites linked to from the Verus Website may have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Verus, and Verus has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites nor does Verus make any warranties or representations about the contents, products or services offered on such websites or the security of any information you provide to them.

D. Security.

The Verus Website uses reasonable security measures to maintain the safety of your Personal Information. Personal Information collected on the Verus Website is stored in a password protected environment that is not available to the public. As part of our information security program we: (i) designate one or more employees to coordinate and be accountable for our information security program; (ii) use reasonable efforts to identify material internal and external risks to the security, confidentiality and integrity of Personal Information that could result in the unauthorized disclosure, misuse, loss, alteration, destruction, or other compromise of such Personal Information; (iii) design and implement physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to control such risks, and test or monitor the effectiveness of the safeguards' key controls, systems, and procedures; and (iv) evaluate and adjust our information security program as needed in light of the above. You can review and make changes to the information we have on file about you by emailing us your updated information.

F. Changes to Our Policy.

This Privacy Policy is effective with respect to any Personal Information collected on or after the effective date first set forth above. Verus reserves the right to modify or supplement this privacy policy at anytime. If we make any changes, we will update the Verus Website and Privacy Policy to include such change and notice thereof. Please review this Privacy Policy often to review any changes that may affect your use of the Verus Website. Your continued use of the Verus Website once the revised Privacy Policy has been posted on the Verus Website affirms your agreement to such changes.

G. Change in Control.

We will also transfer your Personal Information if Verus is acquired by or merged with another organization. In such event, Verus will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy, provided however, in the event Verus fails to notify you, your Personal Information will still be transferred but subject to this Privacy Policy.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION ABOUT TWINJECT: Twinject is indicated in the emergency treatment of severe allergic reaction (type I) including anaphylaxis to stinging insects and biting insects, allergen immunotherapy, foods, drugs, diagnostic testing substances, and other allergens, as well as anaphylaxis to unknown substance or exercise-induced anaphylaxis.

Since the dose of epinephrine delivered from Twinject 0.15 mg is fixed at 0.15 mg, the physician should consider other forms of injectable epinephrine if doses lower than 0.15 mg are felt to be necessary (eg, patients who weigh less than 15 kilograms [approximately 33 pounds]).

Twinject should only be injected into the anterolateral aspect of the thigh. Accidental injection into the hands or feet may result in loss of blood flow to the affected area and should be avoided. DO NOT INJECT INTO BUTTOCK. DO NOT INJECT INTRAVENOUSLY.

Epinephrine should be administered with caution to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery or organic heart disease, or hypertension. In patients with coronary insufficiency or ischemic heart disease, epinephrine may precipitate or aggravate angina pectoris as well as produce ventricular arrhythmias. It should be recognized that the presence of these conditions is not a contraindication to epinephrine administration in an acute life-threatening situation. Adverse reactions to epinephrine include transient, moderate anxiety; apprehensiveness; restlessness; tremor; weakness; dizziness; sweating; palpitations; pallor; nausea and vomiting; headache; and/or respiratory difficulties.
